What is RSV?

RSV stands for Respiratory syncytial (sin-SISH-uhl) virus. RSV is the most common cause of pneumonia and bronchiolitis. The CDC has noticed an increase in ER visits for this virus in recent months. RSV can be dangerous for infants, young children and the elderly.
